What information do I need to make a claim?
It is important that you obtain as much documentation as possible at the time the situation occurs, as it can be difficult to obtain some documents. 

Get a written medical report or certificate from your treating doctor or specialist that clearly explains the medical condition.

Keep originals of all documents that you submit electronically.

Lodge your claim at the latest within thirty (30) days of the situation that gives rise to your claim.

How long does it take to process a claim?
We will process your claim as quickly as we can.

This will be helped a lot if you can be sure to have as much of the necessary documentation to submit with your claim. 

Once we have all the information we need, your claim will be processed within two business days of us receiving a completed online claim.

We will let you know in writing if we need additional information.

When is my insurance valid?
Your insurance is valid from the moment you take out the policy.

You will be insured with Hustle by Coverhero until your policy expires in 12 months.

For example, you take out Hustle by Coverhero for your new gig on 1st February 2019. You’ll be insured from 1st February 2019 until 11:59 pm 31st January 2020. Sweet!
How do I renew my policy?
You will receive an insurance certificate with an end date 12 months into the future once you purchase Hustle by Coverhero.

30 days before the expiry date of this certificate, you will be emailed a renewal notice to ensure that you continue to be covered.

Renewing your policy will ensure that you’re covered for the moments that matter most to you.
Can I cancel?
Life’s busy.  Things change quickly.  If you change your mind in the first two weeks of purchase, you can cancel your policy and get a full refund.  If you have already made a claim or are in the process of making a claim with us, your policy cannot be cancelled.

Is COVID-19 covered by Hustle?
We do not exclude cover due to COVID-19.
However some terms and conditions do apply.
What are the special terms applicable for claims arising due to COVID-19?
While our normal excess period is 14 days, in the event of a COVID-19 related claim, it will be subjected to a 30 day excess period. Specifically,
all claims arising from:
a) Coronavirus disease (COVID-19); or
b) Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2); or
c) any mutation or variation of SARS-CoV-2;
will be subject to a thirty (30) days excess period.
