There is no better place to learn the ins and outs of management, creativity, and expansion than at the Forbes Australia Business Summit. Participants in the summit included some of Australia's most prominent business owners and innovators.

Fireside chats and panel discussions have shared real-life success tales, including the process by which billion-dollar ideas become reality, as well as the pitfalls to avoid and lessons learned from experience that can only be imparted by those who have already walked in your shoes. Only those who have experienced it firsthand can provide such details.

Here a lot of attendees had the chance to hear the thoughts of the people driving real change at some of Australia's best-known companies. Get inspired by their past mistakes and missteps, and use this information to determine what is necessary and what is merely preferable. Learn from their blunders as they share the wisdom that can only be gained through experience.

When a pandemic strikes, a culture must figure out how to pull together and take responsibility.

Integrating employees of different backgrounds and personalities into a cohesive team.

How to keep control in the face of uncertainty.

Our very own Naby Mariyam joins an intimate fireside chat of Australia's Most Successful Business People where they talk about strategy, innovation and success.

The top companies in Australia collaborated to share their knowledge and expertise with the attendees as they handle the challenges they experience and how they grow and beat those challenges. They got insights from speakers like Steve Forbes the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media; Jessica Sepel, 3 times best-selling author, Jess built JSHealth to provide high quality supplements to her community; Tim Fung, co-founder of Airtasker; and many more!

Australia's most successful entrepreneurs and innovators also discussed the most pressing issues in business today. Australia's most successful entrepreneurs shared their secrets to success and addressed the latest innovations in the country's IT scene at the Forbes Australia Business Summit. Panelists included Airtasker's Tim Fung, Agridigital's Emma Weston, and Go1's Chris Eigeland.

Ben Thomson (Employment Hero), Naby Mariyam (Coverhero) and Adam Jacobs (The Iconic and Hatch) tackled on:

How must leadership change in the post-pandemic world?

In their session at the Forbes Australia Business Summit they emphasized the importance of leaders' ability to think and respond quickly in the face of uncertainty and rapid economic change in 2023.

A panel moderated by Women's Agenda co-founder and editor Angela Priestley revealed that trusting one's "gut feeling" and being open and honest with others are essential ingredients in the recipe for successful leadership.

What we can take away from this event are finding the greatest individuals and holding on to them. Leaders must take charge of a hybrid team to ensure its success, as a leader you must know how to lay a solid groundwork for the future.

“To lead people you need to first really know yourself and put your ego aside”
